Mint Aotearoa is in the early stage of investigation the viability of a new solar farm in Canterbury, located east of the township of Temuka in the Timaru region in the South Island of New Zealand.
If developed, the Project could generate up to 160 MW of capacity.

Project Location
Mint is investigating the feasibility of developing a wind farm approximately 8 km northeast of Lancelin in Western Australia.
We are currently in the early feasibility stage of the Project, and there is still work to be done before determining it’s viability.
To unlock the potential energy from the proposed solar farm, we need to collaborate with local landholders to establish the necessary solar farm and transmission infrastructure.
In selecting the site for the Project, we carefully evaluated a broad range of technical, environmental, and community related criteria to ensure a balanced, safe and appropriate location.
We are currently investigating an area for the new solar farm. The final footprint of the Project will depend on planning and environmental considerations, grid requirements, the selected technologies and feedback from stakeholders and community.
It’s very important to us that we engage with our farm managers, landholders, neighbours, mana whenua, the community and other key stakeholders respectfully.
