Partnering for a Mint future

We strive to be active and caring neighbours, dedicated stewards of the environment, and create meaningful, lasting benefits for the broader community.

We know that engagement with key stakeholders, landowners, neighbours, communities, and local authorities, is important to the success of our projects.

We believe in open, honest, and authentic engagement. We work hard to develop strong relationships to ensure we become valued members of the communities in which we invest and operate.

Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter

  • As a signatory to the Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter for Renewable Energy Developments, Mint Renewables is committed to engage respectfully with the communities in which we plan and operate projects, to be sensitive to environmental and cultural values and to make a positive contribution to the regions in which we will operate.

  • As a signatory to the Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter for Renewable Energy Developments, Mint Renewables is committed to upholding the highest standards in responsible development. The Annual reports highlight how Mint, alongside other signatories, are working to build strong relationships with the communities in which we operate—including First Nations communities—by respecting cultural and environmental values, minimising impacts on agriculture, prioritising co-land use, and making a meaningful contribution to regional areas.

Sharing Benefits

The Mint team has deep experience engaging with and listening to communities to develop benefit sharing programs that are tailored to each community.

Our projects will bring inherent economic and social benefits to our communities, through direct benefits to landowners and neighbours who are participating in our projects, local procurement and employment, and a boost in spending within the local and regional area.

Additionally, we are committed to developing ways to share benefits during construction and operations more broadly, through tailored programs, informed by engagement with stakeholders throughout the development phases of the project.

We know that every project and community is different, so the way we share benefits may be different. We are committed to positively impacting the communities we partner with.

During the development phase of our projects, we will also consider sponsorships applications including grants and donations to invest in the people, projects and initiatives that shape the communities we invest and operate in.
